Exam Options

After completing LEXICON Diploma in IFRS training participants will have two options to attempt exams either from Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) UK or ACCA.

Exam by Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) UK Conducted by LEXICON

There are following two methods of assessment:

  • Physical Exam at a center in Classroom conditions
  • Online-Completion of exam at student’s own time

Exam Writing Instructions

Final assessment can be:

  • Handwritten, or
  • Typed

IFA Diploma in IFRS Examinations-Online

Diploma in IFRS examinations by IFA will held at the end of every batch. Student can complete exam at his own time from the ease of his/her home or office with access to all relevant support materials (open book)

  • The deadline for submission of exams scripts will be provided by LEXICON
  • Encrypted exam paper will be made accessible to registered participants
  • At the stipulated time participants will submit the completed answer scripts
  • Any answer script received after the due time will not be entertained for marking
  • Passing Marks are 50%

Exam by ACCA 

Eligibility for registering with ACCA for Diploma in IFRS examination

The LEXICON’s IFRS Course can be attended by anyone with accounting background. However, to register for the ACCA’s Diploma In IFRS program, the eligibility criteria are as follow:

If you are a professional accountant or auditor who works in practice or business, or a member of an IFAC membership body, then you are eligible to take the DipIFR qualification.

If you do not meet the conditions above, you may still be eligible. You will need to prove that you have one of the following:

  • Two years’ relevant accounting experience and a relevant degree (attracting at least ACCA qualification exemptions for the Applied Knowledge and Corporate and Business Law (LW) exams)
  • Two years‘ relevant accounting experience and an ACCA Certificate in International Financial Reporting
  • Three years’ relevant accounting experience
  • ACCA affiliate status

ACCA’s Diploma In IFRS Examination

Diploma In IFRS examinations are held twice every year in June & December and its examination is conducted by ACCA. LEXICON or its personnel have no role in the conduct or outcome of the Diploma In IFRS examinations.

  • Examination centers are in most of the major cities of Pakistan and overseas
